Public Footpath Oak Box

Description

Keep your things tidy in this well made oak box. This box would be suitable for jewellery and trinkets. The charming pewter motif has been hand sculpted and cast in pewter before being hand polished and then hand glued onto the wooden box. The pewter motif is a highly detailed image of two people walking alongside under a public footpath sign. You can see the people from behind. Both are wearing rucksacks and one has a walking stick. This box would look stunning on any sideboard or dressing table.

Please Note: The motif is silver in colour the wood used is oak. Part of the charm of using solid wood is that each piece is individual, there may be some slight variation in colour and pattern in the wood grain.

To keep clean, wipe carefully with a damp cloth.

The external dimensions of the box are 9cm (L) x 9cm (w) x 5.5cm (h)

Internal dimensions of lower part of box when open are approximately 7.6cm (L) x 7.6cm (w) x 3.1cm (h)

Some information about the wood used from my suppliers: 50% of their wood suppliers now hold FSC Chain of Custody Certificates. They know this is no guarantee that wood will be clearly traceable and so the company have started their own company forest to take a direct approach to sustainability and to remove doubt.
