Framed by a black or white (depending on frame colour) core picture mount, the artwork incorporates a highly detailed motif inspired by Lewis Carroll’s timeless classic ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’.  The detailed plaque depicts one of John Tenniel’s classic illustrations of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Alice is seated at the table along with the March Hare, The Dormouse and the Hatter. The motif has been carefully sculpted and hand-cast in pewter, before being antiqued and hand-polished.

The quote below the motif reads: The table was a large one, but the three were all crowded together at one corner of it. “No room! No room!” they cried out when they saw Alice coming. “There’s plenty of room!’ said Alice indignantly, and she sat down in a large arm-chair at one end of the table.

The quote has been printed directly on to premium white 180gsm card.

The elegantly designed frame is made in the UK from sustainably resourced solid wood with a black or white finish. The frame is 160 mm square, by 32 mm deep. There is an 18 mm space between the glass and the back, and the spacer is made from black wrapped mdf. The frame is fitted with 2mm glass and has an mdf back. There is a fold out strut/standing leg on the back of the frame enabling the frame to be either hung on the wall or left free standing.
